Laura and I were in “Little Groups” (aka, nursery), but I was able also to pray at the beginning of the worship service.

After asking God to humble me, and remove selfish motives, still, I was too self-conscious about “praying well” and having people think so. Afterward, I confessed, and asked God to forgive me. I didn’t want to think about myself, but I did.

Little Groups went well. Most of the kids are just about a year old, talking and toddling, but still not old enough to sit for long. Still, Laura was able to bribe them with Goldfish and circle them around her. She held up different stuffed animals, asking, “What is this?” and “What sound does it make?” and (most importantly) “Who made it?”

Overall, it was a good morning, though I missed being able just to worship.
