One church. One preacher. Many locations with HD video of our super-pastor.

This is the rage and it’s growing.

Just uncollected thoughts at this point: but maybe the whole multi-site, video feed, super-personality church isn’t so much using the current cultural expression as it is capitulating to it. I understand the desire to reach more and more people with the Gospel, but it seems that this whole phenomenon might be the effects of American pragmatism more than true Gospel growth.

Does such a thing really reflect Jesus’s promise to build his church?

I’m not passing judgment. I’m really not sure what I think. I’m working through these issues.

Anyone have any thoughts?
